The Qeqertaq Sport Forbund announces the creation of the island's national ice hockey team. The team will look to enter the 2015 MHL World Championships.
In addition, the Qeqertaq Ishockey Turnering will be founded, featuring four teams from the island: Åstad Amaroq, Avanunasiaq Ajugaasoq, Kangiinngik Kallerpoq and Ranheim Rensdyr.
