#1
The Lucerne FA today passed a number of motions which mean a major restructure to Lucian football for next season. The list below outlines the details of these changes:
-The FA will be renamed the Fono le Lusa Vaetalo (Lucerne Council of Football), or FLV for short, to better reflect Lucian culture.
-Three new clubs will join the Council, Loto le Lusa'aii (Lucerne City), Tafa'a onalu Iloatu'a (Church XI) and Iunivesite (University).
-The Lega ona FLV will be founded featuring these six clubs.
-The Ipa onalu Nuu (Island Cup) will feature all six clubs in a knock-out format.
-The top two teams in the league will play-off for the Governor's Trophy and receive a bye to the semi-finals of the Ipa onalu Nuu.
-The highest placed club not participating in the CTFA Champions' League or CTFA Cup will enter the Mercury FA Cup in the Preliminary Round.
-The second-highest placed club not participating in CTFA competitions will enter the MeFA Minor Cup in the First Round.

Further changes may still be decided, and the league rules will be finalised before the conclusion of the FMF World Cup.
