The Challenge Cup returns this season with 40 clubs competing for the title.

The format will be as follows:
Round 1: 10 National League Two clubs and 6 southern representatives
Round 2: Super 12 clubs, National League One clubs and 8 winners from Round 1
Round 3: 16 winners from Round 2
Round 4: 8 winners from Round 3
Semi-finals: 4 winners from Round 4
Final: 2 winners from semi-finals
